Thanks for your thoughts, as they offer me an opportunity to explain:

I am not calling out a 6-year-old for being immature; I am commenting on the fact that a 6-year-old chose this particular one of millions of ways in which to be immature. It is a comment on what it is about our society that placed this particular method of immaturity in his mind.

We teach health in my home, and we definitely promote good eating and care for our bodies. We also care for our minds and mental health, including trying to avoid eating disorders and self hate, things that are all too prevalent in our society.

This story is a vignette, not a daily theme. Obviously.
