The Color

Red and Blue make the brightest white

To those that believe

But to me, they make purple

The purple of lilacs and violets

That bloom so vibrantly in their time

Then wilt and fade to dust

Falling to the ground below, feeding the green

The brightest white may provide light in the darkness

It also washes out the color

Then to which will you cherish more the moments that fly past you?

And to what mix of colors may I find a light that is true?

None.

And so, I miss you.
